Stitching together mp3 files

Stitching together mp3 files
I use to know how to do it, but I forget.
I also have Nero 6, but it does not seem to do it, it can only make an mp3 into a different format and visa versa.
Anyone know of a good spyware free and free app for this?
TIA,
PS...
Using this trial, will see how it works.

Just download the trial of Adobe Audition. It's a pro program and does everything you want it to, and it's not that hard to learn the basics really. I got the full version and I love it.

Thanks, just got Audacity.
I do not understand it though, very hard to use.
I got two mp3s open, but they both play at the same time, have not figured out how to stitch them together.
That program I first installed in my first post (MP3 Workshop) has a very user friendly menu, and makes stitching as many mp3s together that you can throw at it.
Will try the Audacity some more later, but MP3 Workshop wins in ease of use.
