Wiring Harness - Pioneer to 92 2nd gen?

Alright guys...

1992 2nd gen 4runner...

I need a wiring harness!

I've got a little bit older Pioneer head unit and I need the wiring harness/adapter.
I went to the local car stereo place, but with no luck... I would really rather not pay someone $50 an hour to do something I know I'm capable of doing myself.

I've looked around on the internet a bit but can't find anything solid...

Help?

You sure that would work??? I know it says it will but...... I'm always skeptical

What about my pioneer head unit? Is that kind of plug-in universal or something?

I do have like 1/2 a harness that plugs into my pioneer head unit, but all the ends of the wires are cut back (got this thing used for free) So if I bought that harness off ebay would I have to solder the two together? I could do that... just want to make sure I know what I'm gonna have to do.

You will have to wire it to your pioneer head unit. Yes it will work, Toyota used the same Radio plugs from 87-95 and beyond (the ones pictured) so as long as you wired it correctly, it will plug and play and work just fine. I have used those wire harnesses before, and they work perfect!

you could do that, or you could go to walmart and not have to wait for shiping
they dont show it on the website, but they should have the adapter.

do you have a plug for the new head unit?
the adapter will come with a sheet that shows where the wires go, and you should have a book that come with the stereo that shows where those wires go
