Subwoofer Enclosure Building question:

Im putting a system in my 2000 4Runner. Im planning on using 2 Kicker Solo-Baric S12L7D4s powered by a KX1200.1.

Kicker says for sealed enclosires, each chamber should be between 0.8 cu. ft. and 2.0 cu. ft. I designed an enclosure that has roughly 13.5x13.5x12.75" chambers (approx 1.3Cu. Ft.).

The thing is, I think the specs Kicker gives is for speakers mounted with the baskets inside hte box. I want to mount my subs witht he baskets sticking out. Do I need to change the size of the chamber to accomodate this?

Just becuase: Ill be using .75" MDF, Double thickness Baffle, stepped in end panels (so carpet looks good), internal perimiter brace 6" from back. This thing is going to be rock solid.

I ran a similar setup ported and loved it. I think it will turn out fine like it is.
