AND ALLOWS YOU TO INSTALL THE TERK XM DIRECT RECIEVER AND

THE SONGS ARE DISPLAYED ON THE RADIO AND YOU CAN USE THE FACTORY STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS. YES

nice, however you are still stuck with horrible factory sound from both the speakers and HU.....in the long run, an aftermarket deck, speakers, amp, and add on XM is going to sound LIGHTYEARS better.

Yes, but on the newer dash designs ('05+ Tacoma & Avalon, for example), the radios are now integrated into the dash so that it makes it close to impossible to remove the HU and install an aftermarket unit. Many automakers are doing this now so that you're forced to buy the OEM premium systems to get any decent sound in the vehicle. This is a good solution for the newer vehicles to get XM w/o chopping up the dash.
