Desperate for radio help!

My speakers were going off and on, so I got new ones when I got a new HU. The install went easily, only it pointed out that it was not my speakers that were bad, or the HU. Somewhere between the radio and speakers something is wrong. I found that if I reached under there and wiggled wires around, my driver front speaker would go in and out ( It was out, which is why I was wiggling in the first place)

Right now my driver front and pass rear are both not working. They worked all day yesturday, but not today. A guy from work told me that the signal through the speakers might still be coming out of my stock amp, and that might be the problem. When I was down there wiggling, I pulled the 8-wire plug out of the amp and nothing changed. Where the heck should I look for thi problem?

I installed a used amp and sub saturday, and they everything sounds awesome when all the door speakers are working. The amp is only pushing the sub, btw.

Help help, I NEED music!

Start with rewiring with fatter speaker wire so the signal gets more power to the speakers which will help with getting better sound as well as cleaner crisper sound for your speakers. Also fatter power wires from battery to head and amp with a fusible link in between again it will help with the over all sound quality and to put a new system in with the stock wiring just makes no since at all anyway.

It makes sense when the stock deck wont play CDs and cassettes are pretty outdated.

Here is the setup for now. It is ghetto, becuase it came out of a single cab truck, and all of the wires are too short.
