Swing out spindle?

I am playing around with the idea to convert my new bumper to have a dual or single swing out section for a spare tire and stuff. I read Steve's page on how his rockstomper spindle failed. Does anyone know if the rocklogic spindle is a better piece or should I go with the super expensive Slee spindle?

The Slee hinge is in a whole different league, hence the increased price.

With 1.75" OD spindle diameter and trailer bearings, it is a tank. All across the world it is holding up 35" tires, some times more using Slee rear bumpers.

Sadly though, the spindles need to be used "correctly" to prevent failure of good parts. Look at how Slee bumpers close and stay closed.

Keep in mind that Rockstomper and Rocklogic are not the same or similar. The Rocklogic hinge is basically the same deal as the Slee hinge, just for a lot less money.
