Putting on some fiberglass bedsides (pic heavy)
You guys may remember my last thread of "some bed fab work". Ive always wanted a stock height rig with a wide stance so this will start the process. I came across a set of 35x14.50x17 bfg krt's, race grooved, 98% tread, and dot approved for $300 on Race-Dezert.com. I put them in the wheel wells to see how they fit and they stuck out about 7". I nosed thru craigslist and ran across these glassworks fenders for $200. So here go the pics and i will get more camera happy when i do the driver side.
this is before i started chopping on the bed.
now the tires only hang out this much.

ok. heres some work in progress pics.
anyone who is a spray can user as i am knows that its worth the time it takes to get out an orbital sander with 80 grit to rough up the metal. it definatly helps with the adhesion of the primer paint.
almost ready to hang the glass on.

my bed was already cut down lower on the sides from my previous plans. if you look at the first picture of this thread you will see that the top rail was already changed. also due to the amount of up travel in the rear, 14.50 wide tires, and plans to move the axle back 2 inches the wheel tub was an interference issue. when i have an "interference issue" i react with a hammer, metal cutting tool, and in some circumstances a vicious stomp of the accelerater pedal .
