What kind of front end are you going with, the usual D44? From the pic it seems to be a HP of some sort.

So what will be your WMS to WMS? How much wider will this be than the rear setup?

paying someone to do a swap adds up very quick. also, steve will only do it HIS way - the tried and proven setup that works incredibly well.

what i LOVE about his setup is how it "squats" as it flexes instead of lifting tires like so many other swapped 3rd gens. it's also nice and "low" (relative term here) and is VERY stable. how do i know - I've driven it... his design is modeled after the 60-series land cruisers and keeps all 4 tires in contact with mother earth as much as possible.

unless of course you're in the "Launch Position". That was fun - can't wait to go back...

good luck with the swap. also, where are you in E. Tenn?

Please elaborate on the front hanger construction. Looks like it is still in progress, but I am interested in the bent piece.

22" is low, really low.

Those sweet long springs are going to hate that little bitty shackle. I know you have to take height out of it, but I was hoping for a better way.

With respect to 14" fronts at this height, other trucks have tried that, and without going into the fenders, you get a HUGE truck. With this ride height and those shackles up front, is it doubtful you will use more than 8 or so inches of the droop.

How does the steering look?

well how much droop are you planning on running up front? with my 14s i only have about 4" of up travel... works fine for me. keeps me somewhat low and keeps the tire out of the fenders.

Ok, now that looks much better. I was really worried about the structural integrity of that first pic you posted of it...

why a tundra rear? if you're going to swap something else in the rear and you want more than a toyota 8" or a D44, then do a D60.
