JD2 model 3, most common die?

I'm gonna be ordering this puppy here shortly.....and then I've gotta save up for a die, but in the meantime i'm gonna build a stand for it.

Anyways, what is your most commonly used die? I'm thinkin 1 1/2" will work for almost anything I do, bumper, sliders, cage, etc.

I prefer the 1.75. I honestly think 1.5 looks a little on the small side and 2 inch is too big. I also like the piece of mind of having the larger tube for cage work.

I'd have to agree. We use the 1.75" the most, 1.5" second.

I actually picked up a Pro-tools 105HD instead. I think they're pretty equivalent except the 105HD has 5/8" arms vs. 1/2" on the JD2 and the 105. I've got some friends who want to use it to do some chromoly cagework on some racecars.

I told 'em if they contribute towards die costs, it'd be okay. haha.
