a lil farther along i have my own tube bender and mig welder i did everything my self on this one

i like it! LOL

but the i think you need to curve the tube more..where it wraps around the side of the truck..needs to be closer to a 90* bend LOL..but to each their own!

that's my only complaint lol

i'm runnin a millermatic 200 mig welder with the spool gun for aluminum and i have a 16 ton press style bender not a bad setup for building this stuff . heres the pics of the bumper with the end tubes cut and plated and the front plate mounted . still need to finsh welding in the top plates and mount the new blinkers but its comin along

are you talking about bracing it from the sides of the frame to the wrap around the fender? If so...smart...looks pretty good, just tweek it in a little bit more
. I just got my welder, a helmet and a few buckets of scrap steel to start practicings

thats bad ass. i swear you stole my idea haha. anyway what are the measurements for the plate? how did you mount it? is it 3/8" or 1/4"? sorry so many questions that bumper is just exactly how i was planning on building mine

Looks like fun!! I keep seeing these bumpers people are making and it makes me wish I had the equipment and the know-how to play around with stuff like that!

Sweet bumper. I'm planning to build something like that this summer. I'm actually moving to St John next year to go to school. I live about an hour north of Fredericton right now.

the bumpers all finished you can see it in my 1991 yota album on my profile i've given up trying to upload pics on these threads i just can't seem to get it to work
