So ive been lacking with pics... anywho.. i got laid off work today with a week and a half left togo before my month and a bit vacation in italy.. aha what a joke that shop was.. SO with my new found time! and my fancy snapon toolbox and new welder at home.. im going to start some pretty slick mods. I plan to make a mount on my rear rollbar to mount my hilift on one side horizontally and on the other side, have a axe mount.. and copy silverpu's battery hold down.. should be fun..

anywho, entire rust inside my truck is gone. bedlined and awaiting a custom center console. Ill snap some picsssss

Im crossing my fingers that she can hold it for me until i get back from vacation(he says it shouldnt be a problem) but yeah, 99 4runner limited 3.4 5spd elocker... only 235,xxxKMs on the engine.. perfect swap for my runner. Heater core, wasnt to bad of a job.. just need to take your time without breaking the brittle plastic stuff.. I spent more time cleaning my hvac box and all the ducts then doing the job. Overall, i bled the system today but still have a small air pocket somewhere.. heat wise is good. With the weather we get up here sometimes, i needed to get this done asap..

I had a feeling it was my heatercore, rear heater would blow really hot and the front lacked heater and flow. Highest setting on front would keep my windows barely defrosted. Also turns out the control wire for the vents was to short so it was only going on two settings instead of all 4.. i got some wire from the hardware store when i picked up my weatherstripping only to have it work for a couple movements then the wire broke.. not strong enough. oh well haha.

Cluster out

Dash pad out

Not so pretty stereo wiring..

Gotta love my a-pillar rust..

cleaned up alot of my wiring ive done over the past two years.

everything nice and clean!

volia! done.

shes all done! All i have is crappy quailty pics during the job since i didnt use my dslr but it gets the point across.. Anywho, street rv head and 268 cam= love. My missfire is gone, revs really smooth and fast, doesnt burn oil and the exhaust smells like how it should.

My old head is caked with carbon or oil build up in all 3 cylinders besides #1 is clean, i plan on cleaning it up and seeing if there are cracks.. The hg that was on wasnt oem so somebody has been in there already. Each cylinder was good, no scoring or lips at the top. some carbon build up on the pistons and i tried to clean them as best as i could.

when i went to fire er up she didnt start.. was pretty worried then i miss the iac line that goes under the tb.. doh after that she fired right up. The missfire i had is gone, idles very very smooth and sounds perfect. Shes got a bit more pep!

Next on the list, headers, plx wideband and some other things soon..

Also, i did a 3.slo to 3.slo swap.. took some pictures could help someone down the road.
