Thanks guys. Filled the diff, double checked for loose nuts/bolts, bled the brakes, yanked the front D shaft the rest of the way off (PITA), and played with the toe in a bit. Took her for a spin and it's not awful. I never did get the alignment right but close enough. Got it back over to Schaefer's today to finish up the shock hoops etc. Start on the rear on Monday.

Nice progress Mike.
So.. the rear is still stock height, right? Let's see a full side pic with the nose riding high.
That's gonna be a sweet drive to Schaefer's place. Will feel like hauling 3 tons of cinder blocks in the back... all at once.

LOL
I can visualize what mine will look like soon. Geeze. I plan on going the 4" ifs eliminator kit, and then idk how soon i can get to the rear. But at least i already have 4" lift coils, so maybe it won't look too horrible for a week or two!

Okay. Todays progress. Let me say up front that these are not the most exciting pics as it was really just prep work today. On top of that, I forgot to get shots of the frame or axle after they were clean. I'll try to remember to get them before we start in tomorrow.
I seem to have lost something.
Oh. Here it is.
Steve starts to plasma off the original hangers.
Then moves on to the spring perches.
Almost there.
The driver side perch proved to be stubborn and the axle housing ended up with a bit of a divot.
No problem. Just add a bit of material back on.
Well thats todays dose. Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit more satisfying with some rubber on the ground pics.
