Toyota Parts Dude
Toyota Parts Dude (Jason Liskey) is a great resource to our community here. Not only is he very knowledgable about the older models, he has a bunch of these older parts available.
I took a trip to Philly from Pittsburgh at the end of last week and swung by his place near Allentown. He easily has over 20 4x4 Toyotas. He has alot of 1st Gen pickups (pre 84), 2nd Gen pickups and 1st Gen 4Runners, a couple of 3rd Gen pickups and a 2nd Gen 4Runner.
I ended up getting there around 7:30 and we got to work pulling a SA from an 85 P/U. We made quick work of that. He already had a pair of 82 t-cases pulled for me. I also wanted spindles/hubs from an early 80's SA that we had to dismantle (to do the FROR full floater/discs). Lastly, I wanted another set of IFS lockouts for a trail spares. We pulled these off a really rough 86 P/U. (FYI - Steve (Robinhood) the Hendrix hub puller worked beautifully)
I ended up heading off for my hotel around 10:45pm. We worked by headlights after about 9:15. Jason - thanks for sticking around and for all your help pulling the parts. Next trip I'll pickup the 4Runner housing for one of my many long term projects.
BTW, in addition to picking stuff up from Jason, I also have received things mailed to me and he even dropped off a 3rd member at Whaley Enterprises for a regear/locker install.
I know lots of folks have bought from Jason, but I don't remember seeing any feedback. He's a standup guy and a real asset.
Here's a shot of the loot stuffed into my 2000 JGC. This POS handles even worse (if that's possible) with a load in it.
