OMG, and on a new truck? Just give it some brute force. C'mon guys...... I used a regular sized socket wrench. They can't be that hard to break loose. Perhaps a Gold's membership is in order for all of you? JK

The stock one actually looks thicker than the procomp one. I've only heard of the eyelet thing on the drivers side bending/breaking, I replaced mine with another factory towhook like on the passenger side. A few times in Big Bear I was actually skidding on the bottom of the towhook on the pass side going over a big rock. It's now the lowest thing that comes into contact before my tire does.
