rear disc brake swap
so wanted to do a rear dics brake swap, picked up an 83 solid axle and planned on using the IFS calipers w/ FJ-40 rotors, so my question is can I use the solid axle calipers in the rear? I assume I can just wondering if anyone on here has done this, any disadvatages, by using them, I figured either I use them in the rear or the are garbage. Any feed back would be helpful

I think the calipers can be used but you'd need different discs.
The other day I say in a website (I don't remember...) a kit that used all Toyota parts instead of Cadillac ones. It was made to put rear Tacoma calipers I think.

yeah I saw that site ruffstuffspecialties.com, why different discs I thought the only difference between the SA and IFS discs were that the IFS were vented and the SA weren't. anyone out there care to measure the distance between the 2 monuting holes on their taco calipers?
