Rack and pinion bushing

i ordered a set of energy suspension polly bushings for the steering rack on my 99 taco and i am having some trouble getting the rear most bushing on the drivers side in. i don't know if the bushings anre the wrong ones or if just need to beat those bastards in there.

should they just slide right in or is it normal 4 them to be a bitch

some people have told me to freeze the bushing, and others have told me not to, Acording to a mechinic friend of mine freezing them will make them shrink, slip right in. no one can tell me why NOT to freeze them, they just say its a bad idea. does anyone in here actuly know why this is a bad idea or if it realy is?

i know some people in here have used polly bushings on there rack, how easy did the go in?

thanks alot 4 any help
