Mmmmmm, skid plate...

I was searching pics to take breaks from studying today and I found a really good shot of my belly.

Pic courtesy of Mark from Arizona.

Sadly, this is no longer made, but it gives you an idea of what a good skid plate ought to be.

Make it?

That was just posing at the end of a long, hot day on the trails.

The Firehole is not something to do with sheet metal, but it sure looks cool and makes for a good place to change the oil and such.

You are far enough over to the left too.

How tall are you out of curiousity? Mark and Steve told me your pic was cooler because I couldn't fit all the way under my truck...

I can see hair faintly in the avatar, maybe it has to do with monitor brightness/contrast levels.

Good question. I paid something like $310 for the crossmember with skid based on the old design (back in early July). I then asked if he'd make a front skid and belly pan to connect everything. I still owe him something for it, but we haven't discussed it. BTW, that is the one for the auto tranny model 2nd Gen 4Runner.

Cebby,

Are you still working on the custom rear bumper? My stock rear bumper won't pass inspection (due in JULY!) because it has a rust hole in it and I'm still searching for someone to fab me a rear bumper (something like Flygtenstein's) locally.
