Finally tossed the EZ locker in..thanks DeMello Off-Road
I did wheel bearings a month and a half ago....then right after that I had a noise in the pinion, check it out like crazy and that is where the issue was
anyway, was lucky to see DeMello Off-Road had a low mileage fresh but slightly used third member with a Detroit EZ locker with 410s
I bought it, then of course a week later the third member in my truck that was making noise,,the noise went away! probably just a piece of sand or something stuck in the area of the yoke
So today I tossed in the third member I got from DeMello
He gave me a great price, shipped it out right away, it was in perfect shape etc
Worked out great,,,going to road test the truck now
Also detailed the rear axle while underneath it, knocked off rust, put on rust treatment, wire brushed, painted etc
I will report back on the street skills the EZ locker has, I am sure it will work great

just drove it works well on the street
some people would liken the EZ locker to be like a spool and be rough to drive, this thing seems fine, rachets a little on sharp turns like an early GM posi...but was great and a breeze to drive with it, no weird quirks
thanks again DeMello Off-Road!
