A few questions if you can help:

a) if i am buying and aftermarket fabtech 2.5 supension lift with new shocks (and add a leaf) is there any benefit to me including the TRD package as i purchase my new tundra?

b) how can i buy a supercharger for my 05 tundra?

The TRD offroad package includes off-road-tuned suspension, Bilstein shock absorbers, 16-in. 5-spoke aluminum alloy wheels with P265/70R16 BFGoodrich tires, color-keyed fender flares with integrated mudguards and fog lamps. Since you are going to change out the suspension, it just depends if you want fog lights and fender flares. FYI, The BFGs Rugged Trails suck.

Don't forget that the one of the TRD Offroad Package includes the locking rear differential..If you're going to drop all those bones on a Fabtech kit, you may as well make it actually work off-road and get that locker too.

Edit: Whoops, thought I read Tacoma...Nevermind But it does come with the Limited Slip Diff!

The limited slip comes as part of the TRD Sport package for 4x2's. Sport Package includes: tuned coil springs, tuned Tokico shock absorbers, heavy-duty rear stabilizer bar, limited-slip rear differential, 17-in. graphite-toned aluminum alloy wheels with P265/65R17 tires and fog lamps

If you are getting a 4x4 and want the limited slip, you can always add it for $275 (MSRP).

Thank you.... It's all very helpful. It sounds like the two things I am not getting is the heavy-duty rear stabilizer bar and the limited slip diff.

You can always get a Hellwig swaybar. I think they are going for about $150 and is a pretty easy bolt on accessory. Check Summit Racing. The only complaints I've heard about the Hellwig are that the finish is not that great and that it doesn't always come w/ the correct mounting hardware.

Thank you for your responses. Bought the tundra w/ out TRD package and it got a super soft ride.

Notes on the purchase for anyone interested....

Bought it for invoice - 27350 approx. SR5 4X4 V8 w/ bedliner and convenience package. Everyone should get organized and share their experiences in the purchasing process because the dealers are able swing hundreds of dollars out of a sale after you've already agreed to a price. I have to say it was frustrating, but in the end I love the truck... so it goes.

Now contemplating 285/75/16 Bridgestone Dueler Revo's which can be found at a reasonable (lowest!) price at a Firestone Tire dealership. They sell three and give you the 4th, which is nice.

So far no problems with the tundra (two days now).
