LIft Kits???
Im planning on getting a lift kit for my Tundra. i have heard of a fabtech and tuff country alot. These 6-8" kits run about $1,200. How much did you guys spend on a lift kit? and which ones you u guys prefer? You guys recommend a 2.5" spacer in the front with the lift?

I'd stay away from both. Fabtech only makes coilovers for the Tundra. I'd recommend Saws, Donahues, Bilstein's, etc... over the Fabrtechs. I have a set of Teamwest Saws that run heim joint top and bottom. They've been flawless for the almost 2 years I've had them.
The Tuff Country lift is a 4.5" lift, but it uses a spindle spacer. If you plan to do ANY wheeling with your truck, don't get it. Wait until they update the kit with a new longer spindle assembly (supposedly in the works).
If you can hold off for a little while, wait for RCD to come out with their lift. It is much more heavu duty than the Tuff country lift. The lift should be out in a few months.
