2002 Tundra Wheel spacers

Alright, just for no misunderstandings, this is not my truck. It's my uncle's. Im just asking the question strictly for him. He has a white 02 Tundra 4x4 and has 33 x 12.50s on it. He wants the more aggressive look to his tires by making them stick out further. I suggested 1.25 - 1.50 wheel spacers. Everyone he went to said that its not a good idea and wouldn't recommend it. Will any harm come to his truck mechanically if it is done? I dont see why it would be any different from any other truck. but I figured I would ask any who just to be 100% sure. I know its 6x5.5 wheel spacing, so I dont see how it wouldn't be any different from another toyota like my 4runner. Heres a couple pictures of his truck for reference

shouldn't be a problem at all. my buddy has been running the 1.25 spacers on his tundra for i think 3 years and he hasn't had any problems with it.
