Cool FJ45 hits America-May 78 vintage mag-Mary fundraiser

FJ45-is first LandCruiser to hit US with 4 doors? magazine refers to it as a Land Cruiser station wagon.

Travelin' 4x4s magazine published by E-GO Enterprises. This is a fundraiser for Mary-1972TLC.

I can show you the magazine articles and pictures in an Adobe file format to an email address. First being offered to commercial advertisers then to individual members.

All mag proceeds to Mary fund. $20 minimum for commercial advertisers, $10 for individual members once available. Plus shipping....

Reply with your email address or private message me if you do not want to reveal your email address to the forum.

Within same issue is Idaho offroading in snow with FJ 40.

he said the 45 came in 78 and it was the first 4 door cruiser... I'm not up on what year the 45 came to the US but I know the 55 was definately around before 78.

I think thats how it went.
I'll take your word on it but I don't think the 45 was dropped... Maybe in the US but not the rest of the world. Canada seems to have more of the 45LVs and less of the older 55s. I don't know for sure but that is just the feeling I get.

clearly we are not sure....

I simply don't know myself and the magazine never calls it anything other than a station wagon.

If interested in seeing the article and pics just let me know-perhaps I skimmed over the vehicle specifics-one page alone is tech specs.
