'94 Landcruiser....water sloshing somewhere?

My wife says she hears a large amount of water sloshing back and forth somwhere when she accelerates or stops. She thinks it's under the floor? She said she lifted the floor mat on the drivers side and it has "green things" growing under it (mold?). I haven't had a chance to look or listen to it yet. Any ideas before I roll over and take it to the Toyota "stealer"?

Thanks!

maybe the heater core is leaking? then when it heats up it will flow the water thru it and make a sloshing sound. is the coolant low?

Check the rocker panel drains. The sunroof drains into the rocker panels and the drains get gummed up. You can pull a couple of plastic plugs to get the water out a little better.

Klierslc.....

I did just that....pulled the rocker panel rubber plugs and accelerated and braked and water came out. It didn't flow out all at once, but seems to be decreasing. Where are the "rocker panel drains"? Might they be located between the running board and the rocker panel? I noticed what appeared to be water dripping from the bolt areas attaching the running board to the rocker panel? Thanks for the info so far! Much appreciated!

I don't remember exactly where they are, and we have a bit of snow on the ground or I would go look, but IIRC, they are slits roughly 1.5 inches long, and not very wide.....

Look here for more info
