Question who replaces inner CV boots 4 cheap ijn the SF bay area ???

I have a 89 yota truck: 6" lift ( all susp.) 5:29's, Lockers,35's etc... and unfortunately still have my ˟˟˟˟ty IFS.........I've thrashed my inner CV boots and need a good place to go to that won't charge $ 500 to change them out ? !!!

Also, and or A good yota guy out there who can do a SAS ??? I'm saving for an All Pro kit

Thanks

The cheaper solution might be to figure out why you're eating boots. Mine have been fine for 112,000 miles since the lift. I pulled the axles for routine check a couple weekends ago and the boots are fine - I reused them. Maybe you just need to find a better quality boot next time? They aren't all created equal.

what lift and how much are you using >>>>>>.I have a 4" procomp lift with NWOR 2" srpings in the rear and my swayaway after market torsions cranked 2 inches.whick puts the IFS axles at a high angle .....well 6" of suspension lift, no disco body lift.plus my boots that are ripped, where original......I have 193,000 on my yota.........I ripped them wheeling over some downed Giant Sequoia trees in Humbolt County. As far as the SAS stuff you posted........you must have miss understood my question............I know that buying the SAS kit from either Marlin or All Pro is the right way to go...........I was talking about LABOR rates.......most places want $1500 + to do a swap..........so you buy the kit for $ 1500, + $ 1500 Labor + 8" Punkin with a 5:29 R/P to match my rear + a locker for the front and then finding an axle for $ 200- 500.........oh ya know around $4000 out the door...................thats an awful lot to get some flex............I think I'll probably stick with having someone install new inner boots and I'll buy a jeep or a Zuke that has solid axles already and go that route , instead of the earlier option..............I've already have about $ 20,000 invested in this yota, bought it for $ 7500, and the rest is upgrades, etc...,

Theres a guy here in Santa Cruz who works exclusively on Toyota trucks.

Him and his like 3 dudes that work on the trucks are simply amazing and highly knowlageable. I go to him everytime, no matter what.

He replaced my inner CV (on a 96) for $150 (thats parts+labor). I would imagine it would be cheaper if you went and picked up the part first.

He was done with it in about 2 hours too.

If your interested, PM me.
