Where to mount my Off Road Lights

I am thinking about perhaps moving my Explorer Pro Comp offroad lights. They are a pencil beam and very powerfull.

Currently they are mounted on top of the winch plate (you can see that in both images, I am debating whether to change or not and mount them lower either on the inside or outside of the bush bar uprights.

Image 2 shows inside the bush bar

Higher is better for Pencils

Higher the better for pencil beams. It enables you to get the best trajectory for that long beam pattern that is indictative of the ol' Pencils.

Can I vote for you to keep it like it is in the pics?

Hey there Mack.
Unless you have some lens covers i would mount them up high.
I bet a rock would find those lights real fast down that low.

I have mine mounted up high and like them there.

I just closed it a bit ago so it can not be bumped again.

Mack has moved on and bought a different rig.
I forget what he drives now.
