where do you hook your acc power at?

I have been adding some acc. (autometer gauges, BC....)

I just want to know where you guys have been robbing your power from? I want it to have no power when off and power when on...

I hooked up a Blue Sea aux box under my dash when I bought my 4Runner. I ran a 8 gague wire from the battery to the box so I have constant power. The box is really nice and convienant but it was a little spendy. For me it was totally worth it though because it's real clean and safe. You can buy the cheapy ones but they aren't fused but you can run on for "hot" items and one for "ign" items and still get off cheaper than I did. If you have a DMM you can find a lot of items under the dash that have constant 12V and ones that are only hot when the truck is running. In my old truck I had lights, a pusher fan, cb, and rock lights all tied into hot wires under the dash. I wanted to do things better in the 4runner so I got the junction box.

I have the 6 slot unit. I've got my rock lights (2 slots), cb, GPS, running off of it. The 12 slot unit was a little big for where I put it.

pull off the ACC circuit, or IGN, or radio, or wipers, etc.... just tap into something behind the fuse panel in the cab, run a dedicated power from battery and relay it depending on how much current you want to use

thats what I was thinking. It is for an autometer gauge so I don't think it will draw that much current or amps.... I think Ill just tap off a wire under the dash for it and not worry about the relay

Run a wire to the fuse block in the cab to a fuse that is only hot when the key is on.
