What longer U-bolts for AAL in 84-89 4runner?
I found this http://www.gorancho.com/documents03/...specs_%202.pdf but I wanted to see what longer ubolts people have swapped in to accomodate one or more extra leaves. I have my AAL's coming but after looking under there I want longer ubolts too, just no room with the OEM's.
Am going to swing by autozone and another parts store in the meantime, but what have you guys used?

Just took some measurements...
1/2 in dia. Square bolts, ID width 2.5 inches, ID length about 6 inches. Rancho doesn't have any square bolts in 1/2 gauge, the 9/16 in dia, 2.56 width, 7.5 in length is the closest Rancho has. This should easily give me room for this coming leaf and to play around later if I want.
Alternative: U-bolt flip while I'm into this. I don't expect to beat my truck enough to justify this, but if it will cost about the same as new ubolts then why not?
So, has anydody used Rancho's RS17460 9/16 SQUARE 2.56W 7.50L for their 1st gen? If so, how'd it go?

I thiknk I found my answer...
Found a good page at AOR with some details and prodcuts. From the rough measurements I took (with a yardstick) it looks like the AOR flip kits...
UBR86UP Rear U-Bolt Flip Kit, no bumpstops $70
and
UBR86UPB Rear U-Bolt Flip Kit, with bumpstops $95
for '86-Current will work.
Or the cheaper regular replacement ubolts kits...
UBPSQ Square-bend U-bolt, $8/each 9/16" x 7 1/2" x 2 3/8",
UBZR Round-bend U-bolt, $11/each 9/16" x 7 1/2" x 2 3/8", Zinc finish.
anybody use these?
