Thanks for the tip. I did a search but it was inconclusive at best. But I will try that search. Mine pretty much sounds like that.

BTW, this is an AWESOME thread. 3rd Gen owners really take care of their trucks.

I can relate to that! I picked up my 4runner with 89K in january and I am at 97K now 6 months later! My commute went from 14mi a day to 85mi a day.

That thing is soooo a highway queen.

Well, I bought mine because it had low mileage. 1999-88000 miles when purchased. 96,000 miles today. 1999 4runner with elocker.

Dang im WAYYY behind my 97runner has only 93,000 and just a lil more proof that toyotas outlive all others my 99 ranger died at 116,00
