What Is The Best Alarm Out There?
I have been putting a lot of money into my 3rd gen. I don't want any thieves ripping me off or attempting to damage my rig. What is the best alarm I can get for about 350-400cdn?
thanks

I have a DEI Responder. I paid a little over $600 US. The remote doubles as a LCD pager. If someone taps a window, I know which window it is. It doesn't quite have the range I expected, but it's sufficient. Remote start is a standard feature on this alarm. A nice little treat on cold evenings at work.
You can get cheaper alarms. I just wanted to share what I have. I haven't had any bad experience with DEI.

Alarm
I think the best one out there is one made by Viper. Has remote start, window sensors, lock sensors, LOUD siren, keyless entry, alarm remote, and the LCD screen. I think it's over 400 cdn though. I have a buddy who's can get me alarm, keyless entry, and remote start for $200, but I don't need the LCD and all that. That's only for cars with big rims, hehe.

Go with the DEI transponder like said above...
either 554t or 554v both great alarms. The viper version does have a bulky transmitter, but its all relative I guess.
