IMO unless a 3rd gen had less than 20k on the odo none of them are worth over $16k in stock condition since 4th gens have trickled into the high teens with under 60k on 'em.
Sometimes as a seller you are going to sell it for an honest price or you'll find a sucker but if you are a buyer just try to not be that sucker. Anybody who pays $18k for any 3rd gen is that sucker.
I did a little more research and there's really no reason you can't find a deal similar to the 60k 4Runner with a little patience but $13k seems to be the right price range for what I'd personally pay.
