All Terrain? Not on a 2wd;I don't even consider my truck worthy of that sticker.

Thats a pretty good idea, I would never though about that one, TRD Limited and TRD SR5 would be perfect for 4runners.

are you going to post pics when you install your new decals?

Get them, they add like 10 more horsepower.

I don't think my 2nd gen is shiney enough to pull off those stickers, and if I do decide to repaint it ever, I'll have to buy new ones.

I think it's a cool sticker, but it would look a little out of place on my 2nd gen. But if it really did add 10 horsepower, I'd buy 2. My 3.0 needs as much help as it can get.

yea i've seen the TRD Off-Road on a black 4runner. it looked good.

i think its the silver/red combo, or it may be the white and red one. either way they should look good on a black truck.

Measure twice, cut once.

I know my stickers are different than yours, but try to keep the "TRD" letters off the gap line. That way, when you do make your cut, the cut is not right down the middle of either the "T" or "R". Like so:

I wasn't picky about halfing a letter and wanted continuity and the OEM look and when I did my stickers over the tank I laid it over the gap and then cut the sticker with a razor blade and folded the "extra" into the gap flat.

Plus the older style is about impossible to avoid halfing a letter unless you place the sticker low.

I'm thinking about seeing if the seller could make a set similiar to the TRD Off-Road decal, but instead say TRD Limited Edition. Not sure how much extra he would charge for this and might just go with the TRD4Runner pair now.

TRD Limited would be a bit more simple and he may do that and it's worth a try to email him with the request.

Not sure how you applied your decal, but I forgot to mention something that may have helped you. In any event, it may help you the next go round (in case you did not do this already.)

Take a small spray bottle (empty of course) and fill it with tap water. Add a small bit of liquid dish detergent to the water filled bottle. Shake it up good so the liquid soap mixes with the water.

Spray the area of your vehicle you plan to place the decal on making sure the area is covered in soapy water. Now place your decal on the wet area of your vehicle. Position the decal how you see fit...moving it around as necessary.

Finally, once you have the decal where you want it, take a hard plastic squeegee and move it firmly across the face of the decal in order to remove the soapy water out from behind it. Once you feel you have removed as much water as possible, wipe the decal (and the rest of your wet vehicle) down with a rag.

Once the decal dries, you're good to go! .

I've installed all my decals in this manner in years past. The soapy water allows you to position your decal just how you want it, without causing the decal to loose any of its adhesion. (Toyota even recommends installing their oem decals in this manner. Where do you think I got the idea from )
