Throttle Position Sensor
Anyone adjust thier TPS lately?
I have been noticing that sometimes when I'm "into" the throttle it seems like when I lift off I get better responce. I have several items to check: the TPS, fuel filter, 3.0 engine etc. Well I typed in toyota throttle position sensor in the address line and lo and behold several hits came up. I checked my TPS and found I was at the upper limit so I adjusted it to mid-range (easy to do once I figured out how to get the probes on the pins) and set it to 506 ohms (range is 200 - 800 so 506 is fairly close )
I will test drive later but I did notice that there was a differece when I pulled into the garage.
Look here if you want more info: http://www.mpcfaculty.net/JOHN_KALIN...n%20Sensor.htm
Good luck
