Test drove a 2005 Pre-Runner TRD Double Cab on Saturday...
Had an oil change done on my GMC tow rig at the Toyota/GMC dealer- saw a new Taco parked out front, took it for a spin.
Gotta say the new 4.0L has a whole lot more power than the 3.4L, and the new 5 speed auto was real smooth. I liked the extra room inside, and the rear seating was pretty nice too. The composite bed seamed really solid. Sticker price was $25,450.00
I liked it enough to bring my wife back to drive it. She was impressed, and might consider trading in her 2002 Yukon! We're gonna check out a 4x4 TRD Double Cab after Turkey Day - they sold the last one they had Friday.
