Thanks. The reason I'm asking is that I want to install a 180 degree in-the-coolant-flow coolant switch to trigger the low speed fan on the Taurus fan mod, and I have the three position switch from a rear heater (it even has a fan icon on it), I'll leave it on low, and it'll be thermostatically controlled, off, for water crossing, and high for manual override for max cooling. I would also like to install a ~195 degree to trigger the high speed regardless of the switch setting, as a safety backup. ie: to ensure the fan comes on if the kids play with the switch while the wife is driving or something.
Next, I need to find out if there's a coolant passage accessible somewhere on the engine, or if I need to mod the spare thermostat housing I have to install the coolant temp switches.
Any ideas on that?
