T belt.
Did my first Tbelt today. Anyone here had their ass handed to them by their own truck? share your stories. My crank gear was stuck and we couldnt get it to budge even with pullers on it. finally got it off after a while. other than that everything is running fine. gotta get new valve cover gaskets, both of mine are leaking like a siv.

Mine came off perfectly on my 2002 4Runner when I did it a few months ago, and so did the one on my buddy's 1999 Tacoma when I did it the week after mine.
I did however have lots of trouble getting the exhaust crossover pipe off the heads on my '93 4Runner when I rebuilt the engine. Lots of broken studs, cutting, drilling, tapping and cursing that night.

Exhaust stuff usually causes me major headaches up here.
When you get the crank pulley off, use a little antiseize on the crank nose before you reinstall it.

My steering rack needs to be replaced on my taco, and I dont even want to get into it since everything is so rusted. I'm having a local shop do it instead.
I should be doing it myself but a couple hundred bucks to me is worth what a pain in the doo-dah it is gonna be to get that thing off.
I did my alignment about 6 months ago, and just turning the nuts on the tie rods needed a torch, and a 2 foot long pipe wrench with a lot of muscle behind it. I don't remember if we needed a breaker bar as well. I really don't want to take them all the way off since 2 turns was that hard.
To my techs- have fun guys.
