supra steering wheel...

anyone know if a 93-98 supra steering wheel would fit a 98 4runner?
im guessing that toyota made most of the wire conectors the same, they both have SRS so im guessing they would. just figured id ask you guys. maybe someone has done something similar?

does the supra steering wheel have something that the stock 4runner wheel doesn't? why would you be inquiring...if its worth your trouble then you have every right to do it.

I think they would if they have the same components (cruise etc.). MOEBIIUS: it's probably either an easier fix than replacing the switches and wiring for cruise, or for an aesthetic appeal. IDK though. They probably have dif wiring if your doing it for the electrical parts.

Thats what I want to do too! I've been asking around and, well te, I just want to have the audio controls on the steering wheel, I hate lunging over to the right to change the stations...and no I don't want to install after market radio with a remote....hate remotes...please let me know if there are any write-ups or links to do such a swap of steering wheels! TIA guys!

Well, for that you'd need to wire it to the HU itself, and I'm pretty sure you'd need to be using the corresponding unit from that car.

yep, or one out of a car with similar steering wheel controls
