I have - dozens of them. Hence my silence. That install likely inlcluded window modules by the looks of it. Newer alarms don't have as many wires as the old stuff (that I am familiar with).

I'm pulling things apart and having a look tonight. While I'm in there, I'd like to make the AC turn on only when I push the AC button. I hate that the AC comes on automatically when switched to the defrost setting. Anyone know for sure what to do to make that happen? fyi, I've got an SR5 so no fancy climate control system.

As for all the wires in the photo above, that was during the alarm/stereo install. It did include a window close feature which really has just turned out to be a pita.

Thanks for all the input/advice guys and certainly no offence taken I miss hanging around this board. I've been spending too much time at http://www.hipomustang.com/ working on the newest addition to my garage:

Thanks Bob. The 4Runner is set up just the way I like it and gets done what I need it to. As for the Mustang, let's just say it doesn't see much rain. Anytime you're in the area, just let me know. We can grab a beer and take the Mustang for a spin. Maybe not in that order however.

I was able to install my ProFit mobile phone mount, make the AC only kick on when the button is pressed but cannot find any burnt wires. I’m due for my 75,000 mile anyhow so I may have to turn the problem over to the “professionals”.
