I'd get the 60. remember that the Hi-Lift also works as a winch/block and tackle for shot winching needs. All you need is the optional accessory kit. The only thing is if you get the 60" it will be almost impossible to store inside unless you go diagonally in which case it kills your rear storage space. I put mine up on the roof as I plan on camping in the back of my runner so I leave the back empty.

Mine is stored in the back just like snwbrdpunk's. It's the 48 inch. love that jack! makes doing a bodylift super easy too!

I think there, or on the bumper is the best shot. up high on the roof is a PITA IMO.
EDIT: its a pita to get down/up imo, and I live in the rust belt, where they salt the roads if it LOOKS like its gonna be COLD, let alone snow.

Midiwall - I'm assuming that is a 48 inch. Looks nice and clean. I think I've decided to go with the 48 and I just ordered a RB 1 inch lift so the maiden voyage will be the install.

Yeup, that's a 48, a 60 would have to go up top, or at an angle along the long side liek seaflea's, which is a cool idea.

Good luck on the BL! That's on my list as well.

to all u guys who have mounted your hi lifts.... where would u mount it on a tundra with no roof rack and no bed cover and no space in the cab?

I believe it is a Demello rock slider mounted up there, and makes for a cool mount for the jack.

can the hi lift lift the truck using the tubular step bars? my sidesteps are mounted onto the frame.. and the part where u step is welded onto the the munts.. would it be sturdy enough to use for the hilift to raise the truck?

Yep, that is she. That was her maiden voyage wheelin' she loved it. She said it's nuch better than riding all the time. She drove most of the day that day on Gold Bar Rim, Moab.

im glad i bought the 60, were close in the same boat, im running 35's and 7" suspention lift, so the 60 is worth it and paid for its self

I don't know... I once made the mistake of letting her try to drive a manuall... it didn't sound good to say the least. Ever since then I decided I didn't like my car screaming for help when she was trying to shift.
