rough ride with Tundra/OME lift

As long as everything looks like it should: nothing leaking, bent, torn off or harware missing and there are no strange noises I think perhaps you are being a bit sensitive.
I'm betting you are due for some new body mounts, I wish I could find a set of poly's for mine.

Heck even worn out coils in the back of mine were enough to send passengers in the rear crashing into the headliner. Either of the OME setups I had on would have been better than what was on there stock. With Tundra coils up front the 906s will be way too short (without spacers), use at least 890s or 891s.

Another reason for my harsh ride is I have some E range mud terrains that are pretty much bald. I have some new BFG A/T's waiting to be installed, I'm hoping that will help also.

Matt, I am running the Tundra setup on my 97 xcab - with a TJM T17 up front. It is a bit rough on frost heaves and smaller stuff, but as far as handling and larger dips etc it is smooth. It definetly rides stiffer than a stock truck but personally I like it alot better than the mushy stock setup.

when i drive my brothers 97 it is like driving on air compared to driving my 88. Him having coils all the way around is much softer than leaf rear and torsion front.

i think thats it... j/k
mine was rough untill it got broken in, and now it rides niice, but i have the TRD blues up front. yes it is stiffer than a stock 4runner by far. drives alot more sporty and feels firmer, but it is still soft and flexes good imo.
