?? @ roof rack leaks

I have a 98 4runner with two black trim pieces on the roof held on by 5 star-head bolts (per side) I want to replace the trim with Yakima tracks using the existing holes and star bolts so I won't have to drill hopefully, and then put control towers on the rack. Should I worry about leaks??

Always worry about leaks, its no fun. Just plug the holes with some clear silicone. Thats what I did and no more leaks...
