Hi all,

New trouble with the hatch

I cannot open it with the handle from the outside.
Window works, I think, I am afraid to move it more than an inch.
My rear wiper is gone.

I took the panel off and I can see the inside.
The cable is not broken. I can open the lock by pulling on the cable.
When I pull on the door handle it moves horizontal actuator arm (blue) that goes to some sort of rotating mechanism that I suppose pulls on the cable.

If it will help I can post a pic, but so far I don't understand where the breakdown is...

Does the rotating mechanism pull the cable when you pull on the handle? If it isn't moving the cable then I suppose that is your problem.

May be a dumb question, but did you try to lock and unlock the outside hatch lock (using a key)?

The key doesn't turn - it's been stuck for a while now.
I lock and unlock with button on driver's door - central lock.

It doesn't. I am just not sure why. It looks nice and clean and functional otherwise...
