Hey all,

I have to say www.hitchmart.com kicks ass ! I was in the market for a hitch for my 97 4Runner and these folks had the Hidden Hitch I wanted (Part #70511 Hidden Hitch - Class III - Tubular Hitch) for $119.00 with free shipping (everone else had it for $130 + $30-$50 for shipping). I ordered it Monday afternoon, it showed up in perfect condition on Thursday.

It's not everyday you have this great of an experience, so I had to pass word on. If you are looking for a hitch for your Runner, give these folks a look.

I agree! They had the lowest price online. Mine arrived two weeks ago.

Hint #1: A pair of quick-clamps will hold the hitch to the frame, leaving you both hands free to work on the nuts and bolts.

Hint #2: There are four stickers on the hitch that I removed completely using a little "Goof Off," typically used around the house to remove dried latex paint.

cheaphitches.com beat hitchmart.com's price on my hitch for my tacoma by 17.00 bucks. i also bought a J pin (anti rattle hitch lock) once a gain cheaphitches.com was cheaper by 9.00 bucks!!

Awesome. I am thinking about getting the same tubular hitch for mine. Do you really need to drill to mount this hitch like it says or does it use the holes the Toyota factory hitch was using? Any pictures? Thanks...

I don't have any pictures ... sorry ... You do need to drill one hole per side (it is the hole closest to the rear of the vehicle. I am very happy with this hitch--very low profile, but also very sporty. Looks like you should shop at cheaphitches.com too (although hitchmart.com had this hitch cheapest).
