Does anyone know what is required to get the Procomp 4” Lift Front Skid Plate to work with a Superlift 4” Lift Kit on a 2nd Gen 4Runner?

Also any advice on whether the Procomp Aluminum plate is preferred to the Steel Superlift plate?

I think it is all in what you think looks better. They are both pretty thin in my opinion.

I think the reason the procomp one is recommended for the procomp lift is because there are spots for the bolts on the kit. You would need to fab up some mounts or maybe even just drill a hole or two.

I realize it is all low quality stuff, just trying to bandaid it through until I can get a better setup in place. Your TC setup looks really nice, just didn't have the money (and still don't) the coilover TC kit runs $4K+ by the time your done.

If the procomp is that flimsy a plate maybe I should go another route. I like the look the look of the Aluminum plate and was woundering if it was just a mater of drilling and tapping some holes to make the procomp plate fit or is it a major deal. Anyone know or have a better suggestion??

My Superlift skidplate is actually fairly think, considering it was only like $65... It's held up to everything I've bashed it on.

I think that that might be the easiest and cheapest way to go for now. 4WParts wants $93 + shipping, still less than the procomp plate.

Shop around I bet you could beat that and I think 4WP price matches.

They are both thicker than stock, but when I do one I want to go substantially thicker......like 4 inches thick Just kidding.

Oh yeah, I don't have the Total Chaos kit. I use JD fab's kit www.JDfabrication.com
Pretty different kit and it allows for coilovers as well....but I stuck with my torsions for now.
