OME 890's & 891's - height difference?
So I got my OME stuff and I was taking a peek at what I bought.
For the rear I got both a set of 890's & 891's to see which will work better for me. I pulled the 890's out of the boxes and they are marked driver and passenger sides and the driver's side is longer as I expected.
The 891's however, both appear to be about the same length. I know that many of y'all have 891's on the rear. Should there be a noticable difference (eyeballing it) in height for the left and right or is it something that I will need to measure to notice?
Thanks,
Mike

You going to install the stuff yourself? It is pretty easy. Check out my website for some simple write-ups.

I just got finished with mine less than a month ago. If I had known how much better the ride was going to be I would have made the OMEs my FIRST mod hands down.

Thanks.
I took a good look at them again and the 890's are marked PS & DS and there is a readily apparent difference in height.
The 891's are marked R/H & L/H and the height difference is much less. Also the R/H is taller. I am guessing two things:
1. The 891's are marked wrong for the USA.
2. The variance in the difference of height is due to the fact that the 890 is a softer spring and needs to be a wee bit longer (than the other 890) to make up for that, if you know what I mean.
Thanks again,
Mike

2. Makes sense
Just ignore the labeling and put the longer 891 on the driver's side/gas tank side.

Yup. That's what I'll do.
If I can find a warm place to work, I will do this myself. If I can not find a place, I will either wait until Spring or, gasp, pay someone.
