oil coolers

I've got an 87 pickup and seeing as how it is getting up there in miles, 200k, I was thinking about what I can do to prolong the life of the engine. One of the things that I thought of was a larger after market oil cooler. what type/brand/size oil cooler do you guys suggest.

thanks

Just keep the maintenance up and you will be fine. No need to add the oil cooler.

Use AMSOIL motor oil.

You will essentially arrest engine wear where it is once you make the switch. That will give you the best possibility of extending engine life.

If you have oil leaks it may not be cost effective as more AMSOIL will leak out of the same leak and it is to expensive to through on the street.
