Oil cooler and light bulbs...

I searched on these but couldn't find anything really concrete. Since the TRD oil cooler is a direct bolt on I think that is the way to go for me over a generic one. Or does someone else make a direct bolt on for Toyota 4Runners (2000)?

I am looking for a good site on light bulbs for my 4Runner, it's for recreation use only now, (2000 LTD 4WD w/ 30k miles) so I want to put some super bright bulbs in. Any recommendations? I see a lot of crap on Ebay but I never can tell if those are legit, I'll pay more if it comes from a reputable site. Is there a standard bulb size for our 4Runners? Like H3? What about brightening up the fog lamps?

Only can answer for the fogs. I upgraded from the stock 50 watt bulbs to super white 60 watt bulbs w/ no problems. It seems a little brighter but matches the super whites in the head lamps and side lamps.

For my 87, I bought a kit from Northwest Offroad that allows you to run both low beam and high beam at the same time as well as running higher wattage bulbs. The kit included two relays and a wiring harness. It is a plug-n-play deal and it was worth every penny spent. Also I bought Hella's replacement 6054 bulb which uses a H4 bulb in the back so you dont have to throw the whole thing out.

Here you can see better what I'am talking about:

They are not only just replacements but also the lense of the glass reflects and disperses the light way better than the original one. At one time I was using a 80w/100w bulb and I had to go back to the stock 55w/60w cause I was blinding people.

Hope that helps.

James
