New shoes installed.
I have taken it as long as I can and finally decided it was time to step back up to some serious tires. They are 305/70R16 BFG Mud-terrain Ta KM's. I will get some better pics tomorow. Ran out of daylight today. I am currently running some 1/4" spacers to clear the upper control arms.

Do you have any wobble issues with the spacers? I am currently running 285 M/T and experiencing some rubbing issues. I know the spacer issue has been heavily debated but how have they worked for you?

nice Matthew, those look great. I hope to run some 295 BFG ATs next on the 5 star 7 inch wheels when I trade up with a member.

you will love those KMs off road, and they have pretty good manners onroad, other than at slow speeds when you can feel the lugs rolling, which you have probably allready experienced.

I haven't experienced any wobble so far, but I haven't had them on the hwy yet. The 1/4" spacers will be temporary until I can get some 1/2" spacers from Marlin.

The 305's can be run on 7" wheels. They are not "optimum" but I have run 285 & 305's on 7" wheels before w/ no problems.

That's awesome. I think I just found my tire upgrade!
Where'd you pick up the 1/4" and 1/2" spacers? Either that or how complex are they to machine, I might just bust some out of stainless on the ol bridgeport mill.
For those who have said you can air down 305s on the factory 7" rim, how low can you go on tire pressure? I have aired down before, just not very far on my stock tires...
and to terryjmatthew: how much lift are you running front and rear with that setup?

I am running some cheap-O 1/4" spacers I got from a custom wheel shop. I plan on getting some 1" spacers from Marlin if I can't find any 1/2" bolt-ons.

** edit** I will also have my LT285/75R16 Bst Dueler AT Revo's for sale if I can't sell them locally.
They have 11-12/32" tread left and are still in good shape.
