New pinion bearings and locker clean out. Help needed
Hey all. My pinion bearing is gone I'm told. I figured I would replace all of the bearings in the rear diff. However after a ton of searching I still don't know a few things.
I have a 96 limited v6 with factory elocker.
What companies are good for bearings in our trucks?
Where is a great place to buy them.
Also anyone living in the northeast have fun if you want to take your locker out. Mine was fused onto the rear end and full of corrosion and sand.
Thanks all.

OEM brands are KOYO, Nachi, or NSK(AFAIK). Other brands you'll find available will most likely be Timken, National, Precision, SKF, or TWB. All are equivalent to OEM in my book. I've never had a bad experience with any of them. Actually, I've never used any TWB bearings that I'm aware of(but it's quite possible that I have w/o knowing, or remembering it). But if Zuk's got nothing bad to say about TWB, then I don't either. IOW, good luck finding any "bad" brand(s) of bearings. For all I know they don't exist.
So...where to buy them? Wherever they're cheapest...of course!

Thanks a million. I just want to say that i had to remove the whole rear from the truck to get the carrier out it was just about fused to the housing. Just the pinion bearing is bad that I can see. The bearings were all at the bottom of the diff and tons of junk/metal bits in there.
