new clutch noise

I have an 89 pickup 2wd and I just replaced the clutch cover, disk, throw out and pilot bearing. Ever since I did that when I drive it clicks. It speeds up with the engine, but when my truck warms up after a while, the sound seems to go away, but comes back after it sits. It sounds like a loud valve noise, but it has to be something with the clutch since it started when I replaced it. It only happens when I am on the gas though. I am hoping maybe it will go away. Anyone had this happen, Thanks in advance.

If I recall correctly, the exhaust pipe bolts to the left side of the bell housing, and just above this is a pipe joint to the exhaust manifold.

Its leaking at or near this joint.

Yeah, thanks for the reply, that is what it was and I found it right after I posted. The bolts were tight, but I guess they needed just a little more. Thanks
