New Battery ideas
Wow been so long since Ive posted here. MY ORANGE TOP OPTIMA DIED. Tried recharging it but its DOA. Went to the optima site and do they make a reverse poles battery any more? IF not what do u suggest. I have a 96 4runner 3rd Generation.

You'll also want to contact Brian (waskillywabbit/WabFab) about his Optima Hold Down Kit. It's a VERY nice bracket assembly that will do you better than using a spacer tray or a piece of wood to make up the battery height difference.

i put in a 34/78 yellow top...you will need the spacer for the bottom of the batttery so make sure you get it. to extend the postive cable and the ground from the negative terminal to fender........it sounds bootleg but i extened the postive by getting a 6" 4awg wire with a ground loop. i put an fat bolt that fit tightly in the middle of both loops with a nut then but the bolt flush with the nut. before i attach them i got 3m shrink tubing with the gel waterproofing die electric grease. its very think rubber and i have no worries of the bolt ever becoming loose or corroated. then i finished it off with those fancy gold stinger terminals...ill get you some pics if i get a chance
